How to Use the Line Numbering Tool

Line Numbering Options:

Start number:
Set the first number to use for the line numbering.
Step:
Choose the increment between each line number (e.g., use 1 for consecutive numbers, 2 to skip numbers, etc.).
Zero padding:
Define how many digits the line number should have by padding with zeros (e.g., use 3 to get 0001, 0002, 0003).
Template:
Customize how the line number appears in each line. Use %n as a placeholder for the line number (e.g., %n., Line %n:, etc.).
Descending:
Enable this option to number lines in descending order.

How to use:

Paste or type your text into the Input area.
Adjust the numbering options as needed (start, step, zero padding, template, and order).
